If in-game ads aren’t effective, they won’t be used, or they’ll have to get smarter. This is a case of if you don’t acknowledge it, maybe it will go away.

    I’ve not played any of these games so I’m curious how they go about advertising. If it’s the same way that real sports go about advertising in games, (meaning branding all over the stadium) then of course it’s not effective, for the same reason people tune out banner ads on webpages.

    That or they just aren’t advertising chocolate milk enough.
