WoW Forums -> How to tell if you’re a mob IRL

A funny look at some conventions that we’ve accepted in MMO history:

Your idea of a fun time is standing in one room your whole life holding a staring contest with the other 2 people in front of you.

Every once in a while, a group of thugs will burst into your house/business and start killing people. However, even this distraction will not cost you the prized title of Supreme Staring Contest Champion.

If someone interrupts this staring contest, and causes you to lose they must pay with their blood.

You tend to attack priests and other religious officials for no reason.

It makes you especially angry to watch evangelists perform “faith healings”.

When running away from a fight, you often try to run past or even towards the person who was attacking you, because you have no sense of direction.

People often try to kill you for your clothing.

If you have no good clothing, people will try to kill you simply because you are in their way.

You have such terrible observational skills that you cannot notice a group of potentially dangerous people standing 15 feet in front of you, discussing the specifics of how they plan to kill you.

Your idea of a first date with a girl you like is smashing her in the face with a giant hammer.

There are about 200 other people who look exactly like you and with the same name as you. Most of them probably live in the same building as you.

You can run up 90 degree slopes with no decrease in speed, you can fall thousands of feet without being injured, all in the pursuit of your sworn enemy (namely, the guy who caused you to lose the staring contest).

Despite all of the above, if he jumps into a shallow pool of water, you won’t be able to follow him.
