We’re back! After a long hiatus we’ll be talking about what’s been going on with us, the industry and our new plans for the future.
Tune in this Wednesday, May 20th right here for awesome.
This week we have a huge GDC rundown/wrapup, and talk about Persona 3: FES, Portal 2, and EALand. We cover our rundown of personalities, pursuits, and parties. Also Penis and Spore and You. Relevant.
On this weeks EndgameRadio, we’re going to discuss THE META FUNNY. More specifically, how bugs in games and the introduction of physics and emergent (sometimes unwanted) behavior allows more enjoyment out of a game than was necessarily planned. We’ve got some really silly examples from Assassins Creed and other games, some come listen and lol and hump walls with us.
We’ve compiled a ton of youtube vids showing off glitches from various games. Check them out below the cut! (more…)
Tonight, on EndgameRadio Prime, Oizys and Zug dine upon the holiday left-overs and prepare a delicious feast of end-of-the-year-wrap-up, in our own special style. We’ll go over the past year and it’s adventures, as well as look ahead for the new year. In the endless sea of 2007-wrap ups, we assure you our wrap is the most delicious and interesting of the lot.
Wow… just. wow.
Kwari: The make money per frag game concept. I thought the idea wasn’t a bad one and that maybe the company had a leg to stand on here. Thanks Mr. Promo Video for clearing that one up, now I KNOW that this is going to tits up - WAI up.
This week on EndgameRadio Prime:
Neverwinter Nights, Betallion Wars 2, Guitar Hero 3, Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Halflife: Lemon Bazooka, and LOTS AND LOTS OF OTHER GAMEs. INCOMIGN GAME AVALANCHE. Also we had problems with our recording tonight so it wound up losing parts of our takes and we cut it together badly.
In the spirit of being broken Oizys brings back a special Tourette’s Set tonight by popular request!
Whenever a game so impresses and enthralls me, I like to spend some quality time determining why. What mystic formula or feature made the game so different from its contemporaries or anti-derivatives. After pondering these questions (and others like why did this game have to come out right before PAX - now I want to stay home and play), I think I have found what makes this game great and unique.
The actual stats are interesting, but this is posted more so to say that there’s now Nielsen media data for gaming. We’ll probably be referring to this a lot.
